Written and recorded October 2009 in the bedroom pictured above, likely while wearing that exact outfit for another week in a row. I miss that shirt multiple times a year.

There's a hell of a lot to be said for not knowing; approaching something for the first time without a predisposed notion as to how it's "supposed to be." Or you can just be nineteen and hardly care.

I wrote this song before I knew what a song was supposed to be. There's a lot about it that makes me cringe now, but I think it may be one of the best things I have made.
